About me….there is lots to know about me and most of it is much more interesting and amusing if it is learned and discovered first hand, and much more entertaining after much wine or other alcohol is consumed. I will do my best with my writerly skills to tell you all about me. Before anything else and more important than anything else I’m a mommy. My daughter Mary is the true love of my life and the best friend I will ever really have.
my husband and i split up this past summer and the divorce was final on our 4year anniversary. no the irony is not lost on me. it was a hard day for me and soon after i started to realize that i made a mistake. i missed him and wished we could give each other a second chance. well…that is where we are now, several months after our divorce we are working on a fresh start and a second chance and things are going well.
other things about me…i love the rain, i love The Cure, i love to indulge in Absinthe and clove cigarettes, i love taking pictures and hope someday to make a living as a photographer, i also love to write poetry when the words come to me, i adore all of my wonderful friends and feel truly blessed to have so many lovely people in my life, i have several tattoos and plenty of ideas for several more, i like to listen to music as much as possible and love all kinds, i’m not a huge fan of television but do occasionally find myself hooked on a particular show like LOST or Trueblood for example, i love going to concerts, i love wearing tall boots and short skirts, i love roses and like to hang them up and keep them after they have dried, i have the coolest tarot deck and enjoy giving readings, i love birds and have two Cockatiels named Johnny and Marvin and hope to someday have a Cockatoo, i have a cat named Charlotte Sometimes and my daughter has a cat from one of her litters named Artemis they are both brown/black tortoiseshell colored and have extra toes and are the sweetest kitties ever, i love coffee and going to the cafe with friends, i don’t like eating but my boyfriend is such a good cook i just can’t help myself, i’m sure there is more but i think that is enough for now.
